Ballineen & Enniskeane The tidy twin villages of Ballineen and Enniskeane have good amenities and are centrally situated, within 15 min. drive of Dunmanway, Clonakilty and Bandon.

Clonakilty has a thriving musical and artistic community and is also a regular award winner in the national tidy towns competition. Several of its pubs are noted for great music sessions, with many big name acts taking part. The town is home to the impressive Model Railway Village Project that depicts many of West Cork's finest attractions in miniature.

Drimoleague Returning through Bantry, to complete the circle of West Cork, the inland route takes you to Drimoleague, with its converted mill, now an artistic centre worth seeing. There are some nice hill-walking routes near by.

Dunmanway Dunmanway has a public indoor swimming pool, bounded by a very impressive recreation and play area. It is central to most areas of West Cork and, therefore, a good base to tour from.

Timoleague & Courtmacsherry Not far from Clonakilty, is a scenic coastal community, incorporating the villages of Timoleague, Courtmacsherry and Kilbrittain. Courtmacsherry is a beautiful picturesque seaside village with a wooded backdrop. Wonderful walks, fishing and a sailing school nearby. It is an ideal location for family holidays.
